Plaque to honor BHS coaches

BOONSBORO -- It's not too late to get your name on the coaches plaque for the new stadium locker rooms which honors the three coaches in Boonsboro High's football history.

The cost is $50. The plaque will be displayed during Septtember 2009, the 50th year of football at Boonsboro.

Hancock farmers market open Saturday

HANCOCK - Homemade craft vendors are invited to participate in Saturday's Farmers Market at Joseph Hancock Park on West Main Street, Hancock Town Manager David Smith said. Normally, crafts are not permitted at the market, Smith said. Vendors should register by contacting Town Hall at 301-678-5622.

Barbershop Chorus to perform Sunday in Boonsboro

BOONSBORO -- The Mason Dixon Barbershop Chorus will perform at Shafer Park in Boonsboro on Sunday at 6 p.m.

The concert is free and will consist of music for all tastes done in the traditional four-part barbershop harmony style. The chorus is celebrating its 55th year in the Hagerstown area.
