Arts festival this weekend



The second annual autumn arts festival will be held at Hagerstown City Park on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A variety of activities will be going on at the Hager House, Museum of Fine Arts, Mansion House Art Gallery and the Railroad Museum. This event will showcase more than 50 craftspeople and artists, live music and many children's activities. Admission to the festival is free. For more information, call 301-739-8393.

Mall to host card show



A sports cards and collectibles show will be held at Valley Mall beginning Friday, Sept. 19. Vendors will be set up throughout the mall through Sunday, Sept. 21.

Fun fest set at church



Good Shepherd Ministries, off Longmeadow Road, will host its Fall Fest Kids Bash on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will include horse rides, petting zoo, crafts, games, face painting, moon bounce, dunking booth, fire engine display, miniature ponies, special shows, hot dogs, snow cones, popcorn and lemonade.

Ride for Youth to help Cedar Ridge



Ride for Youth, a family ride on the rails and trails, metric century ride, century ride and motorcycle ride will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20, beginning at 6 a.m. at Cedar Ridge Ministries, near Williamsport

The ride will lead through Washington County and southern Pennsylvania. Proceeds from the event will benefit capital improvements at Cedar Ridge Ministries.
