Washington County Narcotics Task Force probes result in 3 arrests

September 05, 2008

Three people were arrested on drug charges this week as a result of investigations by the Washington County Narcotics Task Force, the agency said in a news release.

On Tuesday, task force members arrested Tyrone Nathaniel Faison, AKA "Fly," 26, of East Stroudsburg, Pa., in a parking lot at the North Springs apartment complex, Sgt. Fred Wolford said. Faison was charged with two counts of distribution of crack cocaine, two counts of possession of crack cocaine, one count of possession of marijuana and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, Wolford said.

On Wednesday, task force members arrested a Hagerstown man and his girlfriend after finding drugs, scales and more than $9,000 in a Guilford Avenue apartment, Wolford said. Leslie Eugene Patillo Jr., 25, of 401 Guilford Ave., third floor, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance, Wolford said. Shacresha Lanice Williamson, 23, of 1028 B Noland Drive, was charged with possession of cocaine and paraphernalia, Wolford said.

That investigation stemmed from tips from concerned citizens who said people visited the apartment at all hours and stayed only a few minutes, Wolford said. While agents were searching the apartment, someone knocked on the back door and said he was there to purchase drugs, Wolford said. Agents told him Patillo was out of business, Wolford said. Charges are pending against that person, he said.
