Nichols-Bubacz



Beth Ann Bubacz and Capt. Isham Ballard Nichols III, both of Hagerstown, were married on Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Life House Church West in Hagerstown.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Barbara Bubacz of Winston-Salem, N.C. The bridegroom is the son of I.B. and Dorothy Nichols of Raleigh, N.C.

The bride is a graduate of Sanderson High School in Raleigh, N.C. and graduated from North Carolina State University in Raleigh with a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture and extension education and a master's of extension education degree. She employed by the University of Maryland as extension educator for 4-H Youth Development in Washington County.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Sanderson High School and graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in geology and is enrolled at the American Military University pursuing a master's degree in military studies, joint warfare. He is an officer in the United States Air Force as part of the 12th Space Warning Squadron.

Rethemeyer-Jones



Ashley Diane Jones and Jason Augustus Rethemeyer were married on Saturday, May 31, 2008, at Harbourtowne Golf Resort and Conference Center in St. Michaels, Md.

The bride is the daughter of David and Diane Jones of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of David and Carol Rethemeyer of Hagerstown.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Wicomico High School in Salisbury, Md., received a bachelor's degree in biology from Salisbury University in 2003 and graduated with a doctorate in veterinary medicine degree from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Va. in 2007. She is employed by Town and Country Animal Hospital in Fairfax, Va.

The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Smithsburg High School and received a bachelor's degree in mass communication from Frostburg State University in 2003. He is employed with Swank Audio Visuals at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, D.C., as the director of audio visual services.

They live in Arlington, Va.

Miller-Wheeler



Barbara Jean Wheeler and John Ronald Miller were married on Sunday, July 8, 2008, in Winchester, Va.

The bride is the daughter of John and Jean Cook of Halfway. The bridegroom is the son of John "Jack" Miller of Waynesboro, Pa., and the late Mary Jane Taughenbaugh Miller.

The bride is a 1966 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and retired from State Farm Insurance Co. in Frederick, Md.

The bridegroom is a 1965 graduate of Waynesboro High School, a 1967 graduate of Monroe Business College, a 1981 graduate of Lord Fairfax Community College, and a 2000 graduate of Virginia School of Massage. He is retired from AT&T.

They live in Sebring, Fla., and Falling Waters, W.Va.
