Kenneth Laurence "Larry" Morrison, 60



JUNE 16, 1948-AUG. 22, 2008

ELLENBORO, W.Va. - Kenneth Laurence "Larry" Morrison, 60, of 1 Way Station Road, Ellenboro, W.Va., and formerly of Sharpsburg, Md., and Cumberland, Md., died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Parkersburg, W.Va.

Born June 16, 1948, in Hagerstown, Md., to Alma Louise Breeden Morrison of Sharpsburg and the late George Morrison Sr.

He was a 1966 graduate of Boonsboro High School.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam.

He was employed by the Division of Correction of Maryland as a correction officer at Brockbridge Correction in Jessup, Md., until retiring in 1993. He was the owner of Whip-Poor-Will Farm in Ellenboro.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sharpsburg.

He was also a member of Westmister Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1381 of Westminster, Md., Farm Bureau of Maryland and West Virginia, lifetime member of North American Fishing Club Worldwife, lifetime member of North American Hunting Club Worldwide. He was also formerly a member of Dargan Ruritan.

He was a very active hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include, besides his mother, his wife, Barbara Ann Lumm Morrison, married April 28, 1967, of Ellenboro; son, Byron N. Morrison of Ellenboro; son, Jason C. Morrison and his wife, Nina of Hagerstown; brother, George W. Morrison Jr. of Sharpsburg, brother, Glenn W. Morrison of Sharpsburg; niece, Shelley L. Morrison Mohamed of Hagerstown.

He was predeceased by three sisters, Debra A. Morrison, Connie L. Morrison and Jeanne Morrison.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md., on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral home will be open after 1 p.m. on Tuesday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Richard G. Hembrock officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport. Military graveside services will be provided by Morris Frock Post 42 American Legion, Hagerstown.

Victor H. Stotler, 94



APRIL 24, 1914-AUG. 25, 2008

Victor Harvey Stotler, 94, formerly of 11 S. Walnut St., Hagerstown, died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at Julia Manor.

Born April 24, 1914, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late William K. and Mary H. Dowler Stotler.

He was employed with Baer Brothers.

He is survived by one brother, Lloyd Stotler of Hagerstown, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, Cora Stoneberger, Charlotte Grimm, Ruth Stotler and Helen Stotler, and one brother, William D. Stotler.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. Pastor Ronald K. Faith will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour before the services at the funeral home.

Hubert B. Wills, 80



MARCH 13, 1928-AUG. 24, 2008

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Hubert B. Wills, 80, of Martinsburg, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, at Winchester (Va.) Medical Center.

Born March 13, 1928, in Monroe County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Erastus and Mamie Louise Reed Wills.

He retired from owning and operating H&D Feed and Supply Co. in Ranson, W.Va.

He was of the Pentecostal faith.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth Melvin Wills; three daughters, Anita W. Nestor of Charles Town, W.Va., Pattie Corum of Winchester and Dorcas E. Shuff of Winston-Salem, N.C.; two sisters, Helen Brookman and Delma Rice, both of Peterstown, W.Va.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Williams, and three brothers, Houston Wills, Mason Wills and John Wills.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home in Charles Town. The Rev. John Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville, Va.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Paul E. Rohrer, 78



AUG. 8, 1930-AUG. 25, 2008

MONT ALTO, Pa. - Paul E. Rohrer, 78, of 17 Reynolds Ave., died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at The Village of Laurel Run Nursing Home in Fayetteville, Pa.

Born Aug. 8, 1930, in Shirley Township, Pa., he was the son of the late John G. and Mary Taylor Rohrer.

He was self-employed as a plumber for more than 20 years.

He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Waynesboro, Pa., where he served as a trustee.

He is survived by his wife of more than 59 years, Katrina G. Wagaman Rohrer; one daughter, Debra K. Kahl of Waynesboro; one son, John P. Rohrer of Mont Alto; one brother, Dale E. Rohrer; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, John A. Rohrer and Wayne T. Rohrer.
