GETTYSBURG, Pa. -- Ashley Grier posted a one-birdie, one-bogey round of even-par 72 in the second round of the Duramed FUTURES Tour Gettysburg Championship at The Links of Gettysburg on Saturday.
Along with her opening-round 74, Grier's 2-over-par 146 left her in a tie for 25th place and earned her a spot in today's final round of the $100,000 championship. She has made the cut in five of her last six tournaments.
"I hit 17 greens in regulation and pretty much it was the same thing as Friday," Grier said. "I had at least five solid shots at birdie from 12 to 15 feet and made only one."
Grier is eight shots behind co-leaders Samantha Richdale and Gerina Mendoza. Richdale shot a 3-under-par 72 and Mendoza went through the 6,426-yard layout in 4-under 68.
