Everybody's Day



at Pen Mar Park is an old-fashioned celebration of the park's beginnings. The event features music by the Josh Tindall Orchestra, swing dance and waltz contests for adults, a magician and games for kids. Hours are from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24. Call 240-313-2805.

Olympic basketball semifinals



U.S. versus Argentina is expected to begin around 10:15 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, on NBC. Kobe Bryant was such a fan of other Olympic events this year, see who will show up in the stands to support his sport.

Orioles vs. Yankees



Catch the Orioles' three-game home series against the Yankees. 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday on MASN (Antietam Cable channel 44) and 1:30 p.m. Sunday on MASN and WJZ (Antietam Cable channel 13). The Yankees are attempting to stay in the wild card race for the American League playoffs, while the O's would love to help keep the Yankees out.
