Corrections

August 20, 2008

o Due to a source's error, a story on B1 of Tuesday's Herald-Mail contained incorrect information about EZ Dumper of Waynesboro, Pa. An attorney for the Franklin County Area Development Corp. said information about a bankruptcy filing was incorrect and was the result of a "miscommunication" on the part of the development corporation.

o Due to incorrect information taken from Herald-Mail archives, a story on A3 of Monday's Herald-Mail misstated the history of the building that houses American Legion Morris Frock Post 42 on Northern Avenue.

Built in the early 20th century, the building was the Hagerstown Country Club until the early 1920s. From the early 1920s, the building was used for a number of purposes until 1950, when the American Legion post moved there from its former West Antietam Street location.

The Herald-Mail apologizes for the mistake.
