Sandra L. Jamison, 64

BAKERTON, W.Va. - Sandra Lee Jamison, 64, of Bakerton, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, at Winchester (Va.) Medical Center.

Born Sept. 2, 1943, in Ranson, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late William Dyott Rockenbaugh and Catherine Louise Rickel Rockenbaugh.

She was employed as a teacher's aide by the Jefferson County Board of Education.

She was a member of Bakerton United Methodist Church and the West Virginia Education Association.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Wayne Jamison, at home; one son, Tony Jamison of Bakerton; one sister, Patricia A. Kidwiler of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; and two grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, Charles Town, W.Va. Cedric Sullivan will officiate.

Donald R. Warrenfeltz Jr., 68

Donald Richard Warrenfeltz Jr., 68, of Hagerstown, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, at his home.

Born Sept. 27, 1939, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Rev. Donald R. Warrenfeltz and Caroline Reed Warrenfeltz.

He attended Gettysburg (Pa.) College for four years.

He worked as a deed researcher at the Washington County Courthouse.

He is survived by one sister, Rebecca A. Whittington of Hagerstown; one brother, John Reed Warrenfeltz of Hagerstown; two aunts; one nephew; and a number of other family members.

Graveside services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Leitersburg. The Rev. Terry Culler will officiate.

There will be no viewing or visitation.

Jerry M. Frey, 56

FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Jerry M. Frey, 56, of 62 Mt. Union Road, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, at his home after an extended illness.

Born April 25, 1952, in Chambersburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Marshall R. and Florence Brenner Frey.

He was a 1970 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High school and received a degree in business from Lebanon Valley College in 1974.

He was employed as assistant director at Quincy United Methodist Nursing Home.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Chambersburg.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Shreiner Frey, whom he married Aug. 17, 1974; three siblings, James W. Frey of Scotland, Pa., Marsha Chop of Sykesville, Md., and George M. Frey of Monrovia, Md.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Chambersburg, Pa. The Rev. Neal O. Hively will officiate. Burial will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 2325 Country Road, Chambersburg, PA 17201; or to the Adams County SPCA 11 Goldenville Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.

Samuel S. Walls, Jr., 31

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Samuel S. "J.R." Walls, Jr., 31, of 54 Sandbank Road, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, as a result of an automobile accident in Chambersburg, Pa.

Born Aug. 13, 1977, in Chambersburg, he was the son of Samuel S. Walls Sr. and Carla E. Pittman Walls of Shippensburg.

He was employed as a pump assembler at Manitowoc Crane Group, Shady Grove, Pa.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Mackenzie L. Walls and Daylin J.M. Walls of Chambersburg, Pa.; one brother, Jason A. Walls of Chambersburg; maternal grandfather, Arthur B. Pittman of Chambersburg; two aunts; and an uncle.

Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, Pa. The Rev. Earl E. Mills will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Armeda Roberts, 90, of Hagerstown, passed away Sunday, Aug.17, 2008, at Washington County Hospital.

She was born in Westernport, Md., on April 4, 1918. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Virginia Hickey Morris.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Shilo United Methodist, Hagerstown.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Morris Frock No. 42, Hagerstown.
