Catfish win on Vogt's HR in 10th

COLUMBUS, Ga. -- Stephen Vogt hit a walk-off solo home run off Dan Leatherman with one out in the bottom of the 10th inning to lift the Columbus Catfish to a 5-4 victory over the Hagerstown Suns on Monday night.

Travis Risser (2-0) pitched 4 1/3 innings of shutout relief for the win. He didn't allow a hit, while walking one and striking out three.

Risser took over for starter Jeremy Hall with two outs in the sixth, after Valerio Heredia's RBI double put the Suns ahead, 4-3.

Hagerstown took a 3-0 lead in the second. Blake Stouffer singled and stole second, Bryan Miller walked and each advanced a base on an errant pickoff attempt. Mark Gildea then hit a sacrifice fly to plate Stouffer, Robert Jacobsen hit an RBI single and Jose Lozada hit an RBI double.

Columbus tied the game in the fifth against Ricardo Pecina, the Suns' second pitcher of the game, on a two-run single by by Reid Fronk and an RBI single by Gregory Sexton.

The Catfish knotted the score at 4 in the seventh as Ryan Buchter threw a wild pitch with the bases loaded.

Jacobsen finished with three of the Suns' 10 hits. Tim Pahuta had two hits and Miller scored two runs.
