Paul J. McHenry, 63

JULY 6, 1945-2008

Mr. Paul J. McHenry, 63, of Hagerstown, passed away unexpectedly at his home.

Born July 6, 1945, in Trenton, N.J., he was the son of the late Dr. J. Bernard and Neda McClellan.

Paul attended Frederick (Md.) High School, and worked several jobs before taking a position with Weis Markets. He became a manager and worked at Weis for 35 years before illness forced his retirement.

Paul loved to shoot pool and play cards, and he especially loved the game of chess.

He is survived by two brothers, Robert J. McHenry and special friend, Julie, and John McClellan and wife, Pam; eight children, Jerry Lee McHenry and wife, Brenda Stull, Ronnie Lee McHenry and wife, Carol Adams, Terry Lee McHenry, Dawn Michelle Summers and husband, Matthew, Angie Harris and husband, Wayne, Lynn Roberts, Edie Nichols and husband, Dean, and Kristi Hildebrand; and 12 grandchildren.


Friends may gather Sunday, Aug. 17, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Chapel Mausoleum of Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 U.S. 15 North, Frederick, where a memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Floral tributes are welcome.

Arrangements are by Resthaven Funeral Services, Skkot Cody P.A., Frederick.

Joseph Everett Gray, 48

MAY 22, 1960-AUG. 14, 2008

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Joseph Everett Gray, 48, of Martinsburg, died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2008, at City Hospital.

Born May 22, 1960, in Martinsburg, he was the son of Floyd Nelson Gray Sr. and wife, Barbara Lambert Gray of Martinsburg; and the late Katherine Martin Schill.

He was a former volunteer firefighter with the Baker Heights (W.Va.) Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to his father and stepmother, he is survived by one sister, Sandra K. Hawvermale of Martinsburg; one brother, Floyd N. Gray Jr. of Hedgesville, W.Va.; one nephew; two nieces; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The Rev. Charles Henry will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Elizabeth A. Lehman, 90

MARCH 1, 1918-AUG. 13, 2008

BUNKER HILL, W.Va. - Elizabeth Anna Lehman, 90, of Bunker Hill, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at Care Haven Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.

Born March 1, 1918, in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Charles Haffner and Minna Newmann Haffner.

Her husband, Edward A. Lehman, preceded her in death.

She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Winchester, Va.

She is survived by one son, Charles E. Lehman of Westminster, Calif.; one sister, Irene Tyson of New York City; and two grandchildren, Gregory and Monika.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Haffner.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Winchester. The Rev. John Sound will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2800 Millwood Pike, Winchester, VA 22602.

Robert Clifton Keedy Jr., 32

MAUGANSVILLE - Robert Clifton Keedy Jr., 32, of Maugansville Road, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Feb. 10, 1976, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Robert Clifton Keedy Sr. and Sharon Erma Flook Keedy of Maugansville.

He was employed by Maaco Auto Body in Hagerstown.

He was a member of F.O.E. Eagles 694 of Hagerstown.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiance, Tia Ditlow of Hagerstown; two sisters, Melissa A. Barnes of Greencastle, Pa., and Michelle L. Dorsey of Maugansville; and nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, Boonsboro. The Rev. Robert V. Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Cohin E. McClung, infant

NEEDMORE, Pa. - Cohin Eli McClung, infant son of Tiffany Lynn McClung of Needmore, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, at Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his grandmother, Barbara Sprinkle and stepgrandfather, Ronald Divel, of Needmore; grandfather, Thomas J. McClung Jr. of Pasadena, Md.; great-grandmother, Melba Bennett of Warfordsburg, Pa.; great-grandparents, Thomas and Betty McClung of Pasadena; one aunt; and two uncles.

Graveside services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Black Oak Cemetery, Warfordsburg. The Rev. Delmas Bard will officiate.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, Hancock.
