Citi Family Center receives national accreditation

August 10, 2008

The Citi Family Center in Hagerstown has received accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

The accreditation is the early education industry's highest mark of quality, a measure achieved by fewer than 8 percent of all child-care centers nationwide.

The association is the nation's leading organization of early childhood educators dedicated to improving the quality of child-care programs.

"We are so pleased to receive our NAEYC accreditation," Citi Family Center Executive Director Laura Gery said. "It is a reflection of our talented faculty who are committed to providing the highest-quality care for children in an environment where they can grow and thrive."

The center offers full-time and part-time child care and drop-in/back-up care for Citi employees.
