PHILADELPHIA - Jonathan Cannon of Hagerstown has been named to the dean's list for the spring semester at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.

He is a pharmaceutical marketing and management student.

He is the son of Wayne and Cheryl Cannon.

GRANTHAM, Pa. - The following area students graduated from Messiah College on May 17 at the school's 99th commencement:

Benjamin Jordan, of Williamsport, graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in engineering. Jordan was also part of the college honors program.

Abigail Andrews, of Williamsport, graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in humanities.

Natalie Urquhart, of Middletown, Md., graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in English. She was also part of the college honors program.

CINCINNATI, OHIO - Evan Pheobus of Frederick, Md., graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor of science degree in architecture. He also was named to the dean's list for the spring semester.

In addition, the following area students were named to the dean's list for the spring semester:

Chelsea Patthoff, of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Elisa Alexander, of Kearneysville, W.Va.

CUMBERLAND, Md. - Shanta M. Deal of Smithsburg has been named to the dean's list for the summer session at Allegany College of Maryland.
