'Give Wildlife a Helping Hand'

FORT LOUDON, Pa. - Children investigate habitats and learn, hands-on, how to improve these habitats for wildlife. Children completing all eight hours of programming receive a patch. Master naturalist workshops

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. -The workshops train individuals enrolled in Audubon Society's Potomac Valley Master Naturalist Program. Also open on a space-available basis to the public. Enrollment for each workshop is limited to 20 persons.

Free GED classes

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -The classes are designed for adults preparing to take the GED test or adults desiring to improve their reading, math or English language skills. Classes meet from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday; and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Classes are open. Classes are free and open to residents of Pennsylvania ages 16 and older who are not enrolled in a public school system. New students may begin at any time. To enroll, just come to class.
