TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter 77:

This week the chapter had a very eventful meeting. The members had a good week for weight loss. Dorothy Martin led the program on "Snacks and Fruit for 100 Calories or Less."

The chapter also had two visitors who came with much news about the state rally and SRD. They were Jacqie Cooper, state coordinator, and new area captain Parilee Barber.

The group discussed its food drive, picnic, walk-a-thons and visits to some nursing homes in the area to play bingo with the residents.

The chapter meets Mondays at First Christian Church, 1345 Potomac Ave. Weigh-in is from 7:30 to 9:20 a.m., exercise is at 8:30 a.m., and the meeting is from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. For more information, call Donna at 301-223-8143 or Patsy at 301-582-2292.
