McConnellsburg man injured in accident

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - A McConnellsburg man was taken to Fulton County Medical Center early Saturday following a single-vehicle accident on Pa. 522 in Todd Township, according to a Pennsylvania State Police press release.

Jeremy Davis, 18, lost control of his 1992 Buick as he was southbound on Pa. 522, police said. The vehicle slid sideways into a utility pole, then traveled about 50 feet into a cornfield, police said.

Davis, who sustained minor injuries in the crash, was wearing his seat belt, police said.

Xbox, computer, cash stolen from Pa. home

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a theft in which several items worth about $2,200 were stolen Wednesday from a home in the 12200 block of Malissa Drive in Antrim Township, according to a state police press release.

An Xbox 360, a laptop computer and about $200 cash were taken, police said.
