Robin Lea Strange and David Brendon King were married on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2007, at Haven Lutheran Church in Hagerstown.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Millie Strange of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of David King of Hagerstown and Kay Stockslager of Cascade, Md.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Smithsburg High School and received a bachelor's degree in political science from Frostburg State University in 2006. She is a manager of operations support with TEKsystems in Hanover, Md.

The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Smithsburg High School and received a bachelor's degree in history from Frostburg State University in 2006. He is an officer with the U.S. Capitol Police in Washington, D.C.

Hallam-James



Karen James and Chris Hallam were married on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, on Sun Bay Beach in Vieques, Puerto Rico.

The bride is the daughter of Doris James of Hagerstown and the late Harold James. The bridegroom is the son of Ben and Jean Hallam of Stephenson, Va., and the late Sandy Hallam.

The bride is a graduate of Towson University. Prior to moving to Oklahoma, she was employed by Valley Supply & Equipment Company as a senior accountant.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Shepherd University. He is employed as human resource manager with American Woodmark Corp.

They live in Tahlequah, Okla.
