Art exploration for adults with disabilities

Heidi Coble, a veteran special education instructor, will guide students through experiences in painting, collage and clay. All materials will be provided. For ages 22 and older. 'Give Wildlife a Helping Hand'

FORT LOUDON, Pa. - Children investigate habitats and learn, hands-on, how to improve these habitats for wildlife. Children completing all eight hours of programming receive a patch. Children should dress for the weather and bring lunch and a drink each day. 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 21. Cowan's Gap's Brightbill Interpretive Center. Free GED classes

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -The classes are designed for adults preparing to take the GED test or adults desiring to improve their reading, math, or English language skills. Classes meet from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday; and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Daytime classes are open all year; evening clasess close during the month of June. Classes are free and open to residents of Pennsylvania ages 16 and older who are not enrolled in a public school system. New students may begin at any time. To enroll, just come to class.
