FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. - Keystone Ford is accepting donated items to be sent to men and women of the U.S. military services serving throughout the world. A list of approved items can be obtained at Keystone Ford in either Chambersburg or Greencastle, Pa., at Sunnyway Foods in Chambersburg or Greencastle, or at other area businesses. Items will be packaged, wrapped for Christmas by members and volunteers at Grace United Church of Christ in Greencastle, and then shipped. Deadline for item donations is Thursday, July 31.

Veterans from Cochran Field

Mike Rowland, archivist, is seeking officers, enlisted men, WACs, cadets, Britons, civilians and their families and friends who were stationed at Cochran Field or lived in Macon, Ga., during World War II, who would be willing to contribute artifacts, photos, articles and stories pertaining to their experience with the men and women working there.
