Three ambulances sent to W.Va. 9 crash

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Three ambulances were sent to help people injured in a crash on W.Va. 9 east, a Jefferson County dispatcher said.

The crash happened near Mission Road about 7 p.m.

It was not known how many people were injured, but at least one was taken to the hospital, the dispatcher said.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department and the Blue Ridge Mountain Volunteer Fire Company responded to the call.
