Devin Gaither is a multimedia artist whose works are on display at the Contemporary School of the Arts and Gallery Inc., at 4 W. Franklin St. in Hagerstown.

The gallery hosted her first public showing June 28, and according to gallery founder Ron Lytle, it was one of the most successful ever in terms of pieces sold.

Gaither, who turns 19 this month, is a 2007 graduate of Williamsport High School. She attends Hood College, where she has a double major in studio art and English and a double minor in piano performance and Medieval studies.

Gaither said she hopes to write and illustrate her own graphic novels eventually.

The gallery is on West Franklin Street, across from the Gold Star. For more information, go to www.csagi.org on the Web.
