Woman plans to open Wings restaurant

Washington County resident Pamela Vahle on Wednesday told the Board of License Commissioners for Washington County, known as the liquor board, that she would like to open a Wings Etc. Restaurant & Pub at 1703 Massey Blvd. near Valley Mall.

Vahle said she needed to know first, however, the steps she would have to take to get a liquor license before she proceeded with her plans.

Robert L. Everhart, liquor board chairman, said Vahle would have to file an application so the board could schedule a public hearing.

If everything goes as planned, the restaurant would open in December, Vahle said.

Liquor Board holds license for Decourcy's

The liquor license of Decourcy's Pub on North Mulberry Street in Hagerstown is being held by the Board of License Commissioners for Washington County while the inside of the bar is remodeled, board officials said.
