GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Hagerstown Suns earned a four-game split of their series against the Greenville Drive by scoring three runs in the eighth inning Wednesday for a 4-2 victory in the South Atlantic League.

Jake Rogers led off the eighth by greeting Greenville reliever Ryne Miller with a home run to left for a 2-1 lead. A walk and an error set up Jesus Valdez's two-out, two-run single to right that made it 4-1 and ended Rogers' stint.

Suns reliever Edulin Abreu gave up a run on Manuel Arambarris' RBI single in the bottom fo the eighth that made it 4-2, but Abreu worked out of a jam as the Drive left the bases loaded.

Abreu allowed signles to David Mailman and Michael Almanzar to lead off the ninth and was replaced by Kyle Gunderson, who retired the next two hitters before walking Che-Hsuan Lin to load the bases. However, Gunderson got Kristopher Negron to pop out to end the game as Greenville once again left the bases packed.
