Robin K. Hensley, 46, of Linganore Avenue, Hagerstown, died Friday, July 18, 2008, at her home.

Born Feb. 19, 1962, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Samuel K. Snyder Sr. of Hagerstown and the late Patsy J. Wolfe Snyder.

She attended North Hagerstown High School.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Emmanuel Chapel.

She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Mike L. Hensley, whom she married Feb. 25, 1994; one son, Galen L. Daugherty Jr. of Hagerstown; two brothers, Samuel K. Snyder Jr. of Sharpsburg and Scott L. Snyder of Hagerstown; one nephew; and several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Tammy L. Snyder.

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Emmanuel Chapel in Smithsburg. The Rev. Jonathan D. Laye will officiate. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at J.L. Davis Funeral Home in Smithsburg.

Charles Patrick "Mac" McKendrick Jr.



Service arrangements for Charles Patrick "Mac" McKendrick Jr., who died Wednesday, July 16, have changed.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday at 1 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends Monday from noon to 12:15 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. Memorial services officiated by Williamsport Red Men, Conococheague Tribe 84, will be at 12:15 p.m. at the funeral home.




Stephen C. Kobre, 61

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Stephen Charles Kobre, 61, of Charles Town, died Thursday, July 17, 2008, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Ranson.

Born on July 5, 1947, he was the son of the late Robert and Mildred Kobre.

He was a computer consultant.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marilyn, at home; two daughters, Amy Kobre of Charles Town and Shayne Rioux of Columbia, Md.; and four grandsons.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

BOONSBORO - Charlotte May Schildt Bowman, 95, of Greenbrier Road, died Friday, July 18, 2008, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Jan. 18, 1913, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Walter Clarence and Leah Snyder Schildt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Glenn Bowman in 1988.

She was a homemaker and farmer.

She was a member of Beaver Creek Christian Church.

She is survived by one grandson, Mark A. Bowman of Mount Lena.

She was preceded in death by one son, Harold E. Bowman; one grandson; one sister; and four brothers.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Boonsboro Cemetery. The Rev. J. Mark Curran will officiate.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Lloyd Cleveland Boswell Sr., 62, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at City Hospital in Martinsburg.

Born July 21, 1945, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Walter Boswell Sr. and Margaret Miller Boswell.

He was a therapist at Avery Road Treatment Center in Rockville, Md.

He was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by his wife, Scharma Hayes Boswell; one daughter, Carol A. Boswell of Damascus, Md.; one son, Lloyd C. Boswell Jr. of Damascus; one stepdaughter, Kaylee Boswell; four grandchildren; one nephew; and two great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Boswell Jr.

Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Horton's Funeral Home in Washington, D.C.

Born Feb. 12, 1972, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Jackie Jean Itnyre Shubert of Hagerstown and the late William Robert Shubert Sr.

He was a member of West End Baptist Chapel in Hagerstown.

He is survived by his wife, Shantell Shubert; three daughters, Ashley Shubert of Hagerstown, Jackie P. Shubert of Hagerstown and Breanna Miley of Pennsylvania; three sons, Robert Shubert Jr. of Hagerstown, Roland Shubert of Hagerstown and Cyrus Kilby of Thurmont, Md.,; two sisters, Jeanie E. Anderson of Hagerstown and Misty K. Pryor of Hagerstown; two brothers, William Shubert Jr. of Hagerstown and Matthew J. Shubert of Greencastle, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
