Crime Solvers offers reward in Pa. cemetery vandalism

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Franklin County Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person or people responsible for causing an estimated $500,000 in damage to monuments and headstones in the Burns Hill Cemetery.

The Waynesboro Police Department is investigating the vandalism which occurred between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday. More than 100 headstones and monuments were pushed over or damaged, some of them dating back to the mid-19th century, police said.

Anyone with information about this or other unsolved crimes can call Crime Solvers at 717-263-3000. Callers may remain anonymous and still be eligible to receive a reward.
