Ray P. Kline, 61

FOREST HILL, Md.- Ray P. Kline, 61, of Forest Hill, died Monday, July 7, 2008, at Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation.

Born in Hagerstown, he was the son of Irlene Virginia Draper Kline of Wolfsville, Md., and the late Paul Wade Kline.

He was a graduate of Frostburg State University.

He taught fifth grade in Harford County Public Schools since 1969.

He is survived by his wife, Maureen Jule Padrezas Kline; two sons, Paul J. Kline of Jarrettsville, Md., and Bryan S. Kline of Forest Hill; and two sisters, Mary Ann Stottlemyer of Foxville, Md., and Martha J. O'Neil of Alpharetta, Ga.

Services were held Thursday, July 10.

Terrill S. Carmack, 52

EL PASO, Texas - Terrill S. "Terry" Carmack, 52, of 11109 Cutty Sark, and formerly of Chambersburg, Pa., died Sunday, July 13, 2008, at Atlantic General Hospital, Berlin, Md.

Born Feb. 15, 1956, in Chambersburg, he was the son of Merrill V. Carmack and the late Shirley Goodman Palmer.

He was a 1974 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School.

He was employed by the U.S. government at Letterkenny Army Depot and retired from Fort Bliss in El Paso.

He served in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of the American Legion and Solstice Car Club.

In addition to his father, he is survived by two children, Shawn M. Carmack of Chambersburg and Amber R. Reed of Hagerstown; one brother, Alan Carmack of Chambersburg; his stepmother, Caroline McCleary Carmack of Chambersburg; one stepsister, Kimberly Jessel of Chambersburg; his former wife, Judy Stine of Marion, Pa.; his girlfriend, Teresa Lujan of El Paso; and four grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg. Military honors will be conducted by members of Charles Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW Honor Guard. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Rilla G. Cox, 71



APRIL 10, 1937-JULY 13, 2008

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Rilla Gola Cox, 71, of 9030 Wayne Highway, died Sunday, July 13, 2008, at Quincy (Pa.) Village.

Born April 10, 1937, in Hardin County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Johnny Almon and Lula Mae Terry Cox.

She is survived by one sister, Joyce Reed of Thurmont, Md., and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Louie Cox and Amos Cox.

Services will be private. Burial will be in Jeffries Family Cemetery, Cecilia, Ky.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, 7333 Friends Creek Road, Emmitsburg, MD 21727.

Dolores S. Steeley, 62

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Dolores Stuart Steeley, 62, of Charles Town, died Sunday, July 13, 2008, at her home.

Born Dec. 19, 1945, in Connecticut, she was the daughter of Roy S. Steeley and stepmother, Gwen Steeley, of Charles Town, and the late Dolores Funkhouser Steeley.

She received a master's degree in counseling from West Virginia University.

She was a counselor at Musselman Middle School in Inwood, W.Va.

She was a member of Cross Roads Church in Summit Point, W.Va.

In addition to her father and stepmother, she is survived by one son, Adam Potter of Boulder, Colo.; one grandson; one niece; two nephews; and one aunt.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Lee R. Steeley, and one uncle.

Services and burial will be private.

Jestine Elizabeth Rush, 76



SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Jestine Elizabeth Rush, 76, of Shepherdstown, died Sunday, July 13, 2008, at Canterbury Center.

Born Feb. 1. 1932, in Moundsville, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Harley D. McCain and Wanna Greathouse McCain Moyers.

She and her husband were caretakers of Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown.

She is survived by her husband, Onie K. Rush; one daughter, Cathy Stanley of Martinsburg, W.Va.; two sons, Jackie L. Dicks of North Carolina and William K. Dicks of Inwood, W.Va.; three sisters, Lucille Gladden of Glengary, W.Va., Alice Jackson of Charles Town, W.Va., and Nancy Funkhouser of Winchester, Va.; two brothers, William McCain of Virginia and Harley D. McCain Jr. of Falling Waters, W.Va.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. Pastor Michael Bageant will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
