Pat and Sherry Dockeney of Falling Waters, W.Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jaime Lynn, to Mark Steven Senft Jr., son of Mark and Connie Senft of Waynesboro, Pa.

Ms. Dockeney is a 1996 graduate of Hedgesville High School, a 2003 graduate of Hagerstown Business College and a 2004 graduate of Shepherd University. She is also pursuing a master's degree in special education a West Virginia University. She is employed by Washington County Public Schools.

Mr. Senft is a 1996 graduate of Smithsburg High School and a 2005 graduate of Hagerstown Business College with an associate's degree in information technology. He is employed with Chenega Federal Systems in Emmitsburg, Md., as an information technology contractor.

An Oct. 11, 2008, wedding is planned.


Wei-Chi Chang and Ryan Joseph Wingerd announce their engagement.

Ms. Chang is the daughter of S.K. Chang and Carla Lin of Taipei, Taiwan. She is a 2002 graduate of Saint James School. She received a bachelor's degree in business and marketing from Elon University. She is employed by Merryson Corporation in Taipei.


Mr. Wingerd is the son of Sara McCleary of Maugansville and John Wingerd of Funkstown. He is a 2002 graduate of Saint James School. He received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Elon University. He is employed by PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Greensboro, N.C.

A Nov. 1, 2008, wedding is planned.


Cindy Hutzell and Steven Whalen of Hagerstown announce their engagement.

Ms. Hutzell is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hutzell Sr.

Mr. Whalen is the son of the late Everett Whalen and Thelma Whalen of Falls Church, Va.

A July 26, 2008, wedding is planned.


Stephanie A. McGee and Jay Matthew Love announce their engagement.

Ms. McGee is the daughter of Loretta and Terry McGee of Boonsboro. She is a 2003 graduate of Boonsboro High School and a 2007 graduate of High Point University with a bachelor's degree in biology. She is employed as a laboratory technician for SeraCare Life Sciences in Frederick, Md. She plans to attend graduate school at Tulane University.

Mr. Love is the son of Lori and Phil Love of Boonsboro. He is a 2004 graduate of Boonsboro High School. He is serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and is deployed to Iraq.

An October 2008 wedding is planned.
