Religion: Speakers and Topics

St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Stephanie Yancy will preach at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services Sunday. The summer choir will sing at the later service.

Sunday school classes for all ages will resume in September.

St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Sunday at the 8:15 a.m. chapel communion service and 10:30 a.m. service of the word, Pastor Quentin Fleming will preach on the topic, The Seed is Always Good.

Wednesday Oasis services, Bible study and NuVision Youth are at 7 p.m. The topic is Concepts of the Kingdom.

New Hope Church of Christ, 30 W. Salisbury St., Williamsport, Evangelist Thomas Huff will speak Sunday on topic, Faith Through Suffering.

The service and Sunday school begin at 9 a.m.

Bible study on Wednesdays is at 7 p.m.

Calvary United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., Jeff Hollis will speak on the topic, Carl's Garden, Sunday at the 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. services.

New Beginning Community Church, corner of Dual Highway and Beaver Creek Road, Hagerstown, Pastor Mark Snyder will speak Sunday at the 11 a.m. service on the topic, Two Tables of Timely Truth. LeAnne Snyder will perform.

A series on the Book of Romans is Wednesday at 7 p.m.
