North American Rod and Gun Club

Saturday, July 12, doors open at 5 p.m., dinner served at 6 p.m., North American Rod and Gun Club, 12108 Belvedere Road, Hagerstown. The club will host a steak feed for members and their guests. $15 per person includes steak, baked potato, cole slaw, dessert, club milk and soda. Children are welcome.

Swing for Missions

ARDEN, W.Va. -- Saturday, July 12, 6 to 10 p.m., Family Life Center at Arden United Methodist Church. The Arden United Methodist Volunteers in Mission Team is hosting a swing dance to raise money for their mission trip to New Orleans. $10 per person. Miss Dicey's Dance Team Golf Tournament

MERCERSBURG, Pa. -- Saturday, Aug. 23, 9 a.m. shotgun start, Whitetail Golf Resort, Blair's Valley Road. Four-person scramble format. Prizes will be awarded for first-, second- and third-place, longest drive and closest to the hole. The event will also feature a 50/50 raffle and a door prize. Shivley Motors will sponsor a car for a hole-in-one prize. $65 per golfer includes greens fee, cart, beverages, meal and prizes. Sponsorships are available for $50, $150, $250 and $500.
