Gerrard Fess is the new pastor of The Church of Christ at Hagerstown.
A native of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Fess graduated from Roanoke Bible College and Anderson University's School of Theology, from where he earned his master's degree.
He has served youth ministries in the Midwest and the South, and has written several publications.
Fess and his wife, Valerie, have two daughters, Kendra and Nicole, and a son, Brian.
The church at 10014 White Hall Road has Sunday school at 9 a.m., worship at 10 a.m. and family hour on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
