Taylor E. Jacobs of Clear Spring has received the Engstrom/Beckley scholarship for the 2008-09 academic year at Hagerstown Community College.
She was chosen to receive the scholarship based on her strong academic promise, according to a prepared release.
She plans to study business and interior design.
