Corrections

July 04, 2008

Due to a reporter's error, a story on B1 of Wednesday's Herald-Mail stated that 75 to 100 elementary school children sign up for Tuscarora School District's specialized aquatics program each year. The story should have said that the vast majority of elementary students participate, while 75 to 100 high school students sign up.

Due to a page designer's error, the writer of a story about the Maryland Symphony Orchestra's upcoming holiday concert was misidentified on page B7 of Wednesday's Herald-Mail. Kate Coleman wrote the story about the MSO's Salute to Independence, which takes place Saturday at Antietam National Battlefield near Sharpsburg.

The Herald-Mail apologizes for the mistakes.
