Kid's Night

Chick-fil-A will host a Kid's Night on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. The theme will be Cow Appreciation Day. Children interested in attending are asked to bring a plain, white T-shirt. Children will get a chance to decorate their shirt to look like a cow and will be able to wear their shirt for Cow Appreciation Day.

Adult supervision is required.


Parents of Washington County students entering prekindergarten or kindergarten for the 2008-09 school year, please note the following: Registration for prekindergarten and kindergarten classes will be Wednesday. Contact your local school for specific times and locations of registration.

Railroad program

The Hagerstown Railroad Museum, at 525 Highland Way, just across from the Mansion House Art Center in City Park, will host noted local railroad historian Bill Knode on Saturday, July 12, at 7 p.m. Knode will give a free presentation tracing the early history of the railroad in Washington County. Music by the lake
