July 01, 2008

Several streets in Washington County will be partially closed for road and railroad track work this week.

· The 200 block of Jonathan Street, including the Church Street intersection, will be closed this week as workers install temporary water lines and new sewer lines.

· The first block of South Potomac Street from Public Square to Antietam Street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. today so workers can add pavement markings and traffic-control lines.

· Railroad crossings on Trovinger Mill and Itnyre roads will be closed to traffic for 12-hour periods by CSX this week, Spokesman Robert Sullivan said Monday.
