South Mountain 16, Maugansville 6

BOONSBORO -- Matt Crisci had four hits and drove in four runs as South Mountain eliminated Maugansville.

Logan Taulton drove in four runs with his two hits while Cory Woodhams added three hits and three RBIs, including a two-run homer, for South Mountain, which plays at Conococheague today at 11 a.m.

Blake Daugherty had three hits and two RBIs, while Tanner Johnson added two hits and two RBIs and Nathan Saunders had two hits for the winners.

Logan Kauffman had two hits, including a homer, and two RBIs for Maugansville while Jordan Davis and Tyler George drove in two runs each. Davis had two hits.

Halfway 13, National 4

Ryan Downes had three hits, including a three-run homer, to help Halfway eliminate National.

Bryce Ruppenthal had four hits for Halfway, which plays at Clear Spring today at 11 a.m. Zach Andrews had three hits and Tanner Canfield had two for the winners.

Mitchell Wilson had two hits for National.

Hole-in-one for Orfan

Dr. Nicholas Orfan had a hole-in-one Friday at Yingling's Golf Center.

He used a pitching wedge on the 67-yard fourth hole.
