Second Cullen escapee captured

FREDERICK, Md. - The second of two juveniles who escaped earlier this week from the Victor Cullen Academy in Sabillasville, Md., was captured Friday night by police in Baltimore, according to a press release from Maryland State Police in Frederick.

The juvenile was found hiding under a staircase in the northern part of Baltimore and was taken into custody without incident, police said.

The juvenile was taken to a medical facility in Baltimore for treatment of injuries sustained during the escape. He then was turned over to the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services in Baltimore, police said.

The other juvenile was captured Wednesday in Prince George's County and also turned over to the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services.

The juveniles escaped from the academy late Monday after allegedly assaulting a correctional officer, police said. They escaped by scaling a razor-wire fence surrounding the facility, police said.
