Early childhood music

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Offered by Shepherd University Department of Music Preparatory Division. Classes include Musical Discoveries for ages 18 months to 3 years from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m., Baby and Me for ages 4 to 18 months from 10:15 to 11 a.m., and Dalcroze Eurhythmics music classes for 4 to 6 year olds from 11:15 a.m. to noon. Art exploration for mentally and physically challengedfor ages 13 to 21

Heidi Coble, a veteran special education instructor, will guide students through experiences in painting, collage and clay. All materials will be provided. Master naturalist workshops

The workshops train individuals enrolled in Audubon Society's Potomac Valley Master Naturalist Program. Also open on a space-available basis to the public. Enrollment for each workshop is limited to 20 persons.

· Saturday, Aug. 23 - Cacapon State Park: Singing insects, 6 to 10 p.m.

· Saturday, Sept. 6 - Cacapon State Park: Astronomy with binoculars, 7 p.m.
