LACONIA, N.H. -- A Clear Spring woman who sustained a serious head injury when she was thrown from her motorcycle Monday in Laconia, N.H., was listed in fair condition today, according to a news report in The Citizen, a newspaper in Laconia.
Barbara J. Snyder, 49, of 1184 Ashton Road in Clear Spring, was riding in a group of six motorcycles when she collided with another motorcycle attempting to make a right turn into a park, The Citizen reported Laconia Police as saying.
Snyder had been listed in critical condition Wednesday but Friday was listed in fair condition at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., a spokeswoman there said.
The driver of the motorcycle involved, Homer A. Spradlin, 56, of 2229 Beverly Drive in Hagerstown, was treated for a hand injury at the Lakes Region General Hospital emergency room and no longer was a patient there Wednesday, a spokeswoman there said.
