Market in the Square

The Hagerstown Farmers Market will make its way to downtown Hagerstown today beginning at 8 a.m. in Public Square. Vendors from Hagers-town City Farmers Market will have produce, foods and craft items set up outdoors in the square. The rain date is scheduled for Friday. Music event to be hosted at museum

The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts will host a concert on Sunday, beginning at 2:30 p.m. The featured performers for the afternoon are Ericka Ovette, jazz vocalist and Jerry Allen, pianist. The concert is sponsored by the Edmunds Music Trust. For more information, call 301-739-5727.

Mall theaters to host fun day

The Regal Cinemas at Valley Mall will host a fun day to benefit many local charities. Games, prizes and giveaways will be handed out on Saturday, June 28, from 1 to 4 p.m.


A moon bounce will be on hand and face painting will be offered. Donations will be accepted and appreciated to help raise money to support both local and national charities. For more information, call the customer service center at 301-582-0700.

Summer concert series to continue

Fairgrounds Park to hold fireworks

Hagerstown Fairgrounds Park will host entertainment beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 4, with a large fireworks display to follow at 9:30 p.m. This a free family event. The park is off Cleveland Avenue in Hagerstown. For more information, visit
