Car, truck show at Hagerstown church to benefit Alivia Koontz fund

On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Washington Square United Methodist Church, 538 Washington Avenue, Hagerstown, will hold a car and truck show to benefit Alivia Koontz, a 4-year-old Hagerstown girl with a heart condition.

The show is being sponsored by Scott's Speed Shop and Autocare Elite. The fee to register a car or truck in the show is $10, with registration from 9 to 11 a.m.

A kids' remote-control car race will be held at 11 a.m. Entrants will receive a dash plaque.

There will be a food stand with hamburgers, hot dogs, baked goods and soft drinks. Ice cream will be provided by Maugansville Creamery.

A yard sale and bake sale will also be held.

All proceeds will benefit the Alivia Koontz Medical Expense Fund.
