W.Va. church offers food donations

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - For families struggling to make ends meet, help is available from Oakland Church, a host-site for Angel Food Ministries.

The program provides affordable, nutritional meals and food items, including rib eye steaks, Italian sausage, supreme pizza and more.

The groceries are sold in units of $30, valued at $65 to $85 at a retail grocery store. Order forms are available at Oakland Church, 70 Oakland Terrace, or can be downloaded from www.oakland-church.net.

Orders can also be placed online and paid for by credit or debit card, electronic check, or through PayPal. Angel Food also accepts food stamps. Pick-up day is June 28, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
