A 23-year-old Hagerstown man has been charged with second-degree rape after a woman said he forced her to have intercourse with him Tuesday night, Washington County District Court records show.
Michael Dynal Hackey Jr., of 56 North Cannon Ave. in Hagerstown, also was charged with second-degree sex offense and second-degree assault, court records show.
The woman said she met Hackey while walking on Franklin Street and the two went back to her apartment in the 100 block of East Franklin Street at about 11:30 p.m. to hang out and drink, Hagerstown Police Department Detective Chris Kayser wrote in charging documents.
The woman said that as soon as they were inside, Hackey told her, "Either you give it up or I'm going to take it," Kayser wrote. The woman told police she went along with intercourse and sexual contact because she was afraid, Kayser wrote.
