CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A Fayetteville, Pa., man was flown to York (Pa.) Hospital after a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning at the intersection of Cider Press Road and Garber Road in Guilford Township, Pa., Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.
The crash happened at about 9:50 a.m. when an Oldsmobile Bravada SUV pulled out of Garber Road after stopping at a stop sign and collided with a Dodge Ram pickup truck, police said.
The driver of the SUV, Christopher Weaver, 19, of Fayetteville, was flown to York Hospital and the driver of the truck, Adam Johnson, 17, of Chambersburg, Pa., was taken to Chambersburg Hospital by ambulance, police said.
A female passenger in the SUV had minor injuries, police at the scene said.
The Franklin County and New Franklin fire departments handled the scene, police said.
Johnson had been released from Chambersburg Hospital by Thursday evening, according to a spokeswoman there.
