Glasses left with Greencastle Police

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - A pair of prescription glasses were turned in June 11 to the Greencastle Police Department, the department said in a news release. The glasses fell from a passing car in the first block of West Baltimore Street at about 10 a.m. and were recovered by a passer-by, police said.

The owner may claim the glasses at the Greencastle Police Department.

Frederick County Sheriff's Department seek laptop thief

FREDERICK, Md. - The Frederick County Sheriff's Department is searching for a man caught on camera stealing a laptop computer May 23 from the Wal-Mart on Guilford Drive in Frederick, the department said in a news release.

Surveillance photos captured a man leaving through a fire exit with a white laptop at about 2:22 p.m. and leaving in a white Jeep Compass that was parked near the exit door, deputies said. The man got in the driver's seat and drove away, deputies said.

The suspect was described as a white man wearing a baseball cap, plaid short-sleeve shirt, jeans and white tennis shoes. Anyone with information may contact Deputy Kim Calimer at 301-600-7108.
