St. John's VBS
Sign-up continues for this year's Vacation Bible School, Rainforest Adventure. It will run June 16 to 20 from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. There will be activities for young people up to and including middle school, as well as an adult class. Registration forms are available in the church office or online.

SHHS golf tourney
The South Hagerstown High School Benefit Golf Tournament for the school alumni association and sports booster club will be Thursday at Beaver Creek Country Club. Sponsors and players are needed for four-person scramble. The $75 cost for players includes lunch. Entry forms can be obtained at Beaver Creek Country Club. On Saturday, living history enthusiast Ken Koll will present "Icelandic Law - Application to Modern Law," at 2:00 p.m. at Discovery Station.
Fishin' Frenzy
The Fishin' Frenzy will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday at Pangborn Park. It will feature food, entertainment for children, and a fishing extravaganza open to all senior citizens, children and people with disabilities. Renaissance Festival
A Renaissance Festival will be Saturday at 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Jonathan Hager House & Museum in City Park. The Highland Forde Barony's annual Middle Ages Festival will feature mock fighting, merchants and more. Admission to the festival is free with a paid admission to Hager House.
Municipal Band
The Hagerstown Municipal Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the City Park band shell.
Art in the Park
The annual Art in the Park celebration will be from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday in City Park. It will feature free art instruction for children by local artists, plus live music, dance, comedy and magic.
