Boonsboro Family Worship Center, 7605 Old National Pike, a flea market and yard sale is today from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a food stand with sandwiches, homemade cakes, pies, goodies and much more.

Locust Valley Bible Church, 1323 Marker Road, Middletown, Md., a Bible conference on Israel: Past, Present and Future, will begin tonight at 7 and continue Sunday at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.


Steve Herzig from Friends of Israel will be conducting the conference.

Hagerstown City Park, Outreach Ministries will focus on The Word of God during its 2008 summer series in the park Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.

Sponsored by New Beginnings Christian Fellowship Church, the weekly events will feature free music, a message, water, snacks and books, along with a helping hand for those in need.

Greater Campher Temple, Hagerstown, Bishop Betty Funn of Alexandria, Va., will speak Sunday at 11 a.m. on the first day of a missionary conference.

Imogene Bell of Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Chambersburg, Pa., will speak Monday at 7:30 p.m.

Christian Life Church, 1400 Warm Spring Road, Chambersburg, Pa., the New Generation Ministry will give the message Sunday at 10:15 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Lloyd Vandenberg and his family will sing and preach at both services.

On Saturday, June 14, the annual three-on-three basketball tournament will be held. Registration starts at 10 a.m.

Hagerstown City Park, a Biblical drama celebrating Shavuot (Day of Pentecost) will be performed Monday at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. There will be music and Hebraic dancing.

The event is sponsored by Lighthouse for Jesus Community Center.

Mount Bethel United Methodist Church, Stottlemyer Road, Foxville, a festival in the picnic woods will be Saturday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Chapel Bluegrass Band will provide entertainment. Food will be available.

Wayside Baptist Church, 21303 Leiter St., Leitersburg, a special presentation by the Bob Jones University drama ministry team will be Tuesday, June 17, at 7 p.m.
