CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - A Charles Town man has been charged in a May 16 drive-by shooting on Weirick Street according to court records.

Jose Magdiel Yulfo, of 94 Gentle Breeze Lane, was charged with two counts of wanton endangerment, according to Jefferson County Magistrate Court records.

Three rounds from a gun were found in the front of a home at 106 Weirick St., and one round was found in the side of a house next door, Charles Town Police Department spokesman Glenn Stevens said.

A car was spotted in the area at the time of the shooting, which occurred about 11 p.m., Stevens said.

Before the incident, Yulfo and three other people were at an apartment at 106 East 10th Ave., in Ranson, W.Va., where they were smoking marijuana and playing an Xbox game, court records allege.
