The Washington County Commission on Aging offers noon lunches to anyone 60 years and older at seven locations - Hancock, Smithsburg, Keedysville, Williamsport and three in Hagerstown.

A two-day reservation notice is required and a donation is asked per meal. For information, call 301-790-0275.

Weekly menu

Wednesday - Barbecue-grilled chicken, mashed sweet potatoes, broccoli, pineapple, whole-grain bread and milk.

Thursday - Boiled ham with potatoes and cabbage wedge, peaches, whole-grain bread and milk.

Friday - Chicken tender ranch salad with egg wedge and cheese cube, white bean and potato soup, nutless Waldorf salad, fruit smoothie, dinner roll and milk.

Monday - Toasted-cheese sandwich, tomato soup, creamy lettuce, applesauce and milk.

Tuesday - Breaded chicken patty, whipped potatoes and gravy, kale, diced coleslaw, plum, whole-grain bread and milk.
