GREENCASTLE, Pa. -- Tina M. Huss Gorman, 35, of 408 Williamson Road, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at Manorcare Health Services in Chambersburg, Pa.

Born Nov. 10, 1972, in Greencastle, she was the daughter of the late Edward R. Huss Sr. and Judith G. Huss.

She attended Greencastle schools.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Greencastle.

She is survived by one daughter, Chastity M. Huss at home; one son, Tyler R. Miller at home; one brother, Edward R. Huss Jr. of State Line, Pa.; and her companion, Clyde C. Miller of Greencastle.

Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home in Greencastle. The Rev. Joseph L. Stahura will officiate. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Greencastle.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Noel E. True Sr., 58

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -- Noel E. True Sr., 58, of 1024 Warm Spring Road, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Oct. 19, 1949, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Walter Noel True Sr. and Dorothy Scott True.

He had been a musician in his band called True Country Band.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy E. Robinette True, whom he married July 22, 1968; one daughter, A. Michelle True of Greencastle, Pa.; one son, Noel E. True Jr. of Waynesboro, Pa.; one granddaughter; nieces; and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter True and Carl True.

Services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home in Greencastle. Pastor Randy Davis Jr. will officiate.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.




C. Henry Hunsberger, 79



SEPT. 30, 1928-MAY 26, 2008

MERCERSBURG, Pa. -- C. Henry Hunsberger, 79, of 11911 Welsh Run Road, died Monday, May 26, 2008, at Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital.

Born Sept. 30, 1928, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Clarence and Hazel Secrest Hunsberger.

He was a 1946 graduate of the former Mercersburg High school. He furthered his education at the former Shippensburg State Teachers College.

He was employed by Agronomy Inc. in Mercersburg.

He was a member of Welsh Run Church of the Brethren in Mercersburg. He was called to the ordained ministry in 1950. He served Welsh Run as a minister for 57 years and as elder in charge for 25 years. He was instrumental in the start of the Vacation Bible School program. He was a moderator for Mid-Atlantic District Conference and involved in the district church board. He also was a moderator for churches.

He was a former member of First National Bank of Mercersburg Board of Directors.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Grossnickle Hunsberger, whom he married Dec. 26, 1952; two daughters, Ellen L. Yoder and Lois A. Glessner, both of Mercersburg; two sons, Charles H. Hunsberger of Mercersburg and Kevin G. Hunsberger of Greencastle, Pa.; one sister, Dorothy Martin of Mercersburg; three brothers, Edward Hunsberger of St. Thomas, Pa., and Eugene Hunsberger and Harold Hunsberger, both of Mercersburg; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Gloria J. Hunsberger.

A memorial service will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Welsh Run Church of the Brethren. The Revs. Leon Yoder, William Spangler and James Kent will officiate. Private burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

There will be no viewing; however, the family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the church.

The family requests the omission of flowers.

Edith V. Norman, 92



JAN. 26, 1916-MAY 27, 2008

Edith Virginia Norman, 92, of Hagerstown, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at Julia Manor Nursing Home in Hagerstown.

Born Jan. 26, 1916, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Alvey and Hattie Rice Harsh.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter W. Zeger; and her second husband, Wesley H. Norman.

She was employed by Maryland Ribbon in Hagerstown, retiring in 1976.

She was a Protestant.

She was a member of American Legion Post 202 Ladies Auxiliary of Williamsport.

She is survived by one daughter, Virginia Koontz of Hagerstown; one sister, Florence McCauley of Williamsport; one granddaughter, Rayetta Schetrompf of Williamsport; one grandson, Buck Koontz of St. Augustine, Fla.; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Peggy A. Nichols; and one brother, John Harsh.

Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport. The Rev. Earl McCauley will officiate.
