Carnival time!

Hi, neighbors. Hope you had a great holiday weekend. Nothing says beginning of summer like the Boonsboro Carnival!

BHS club donation

Kathy Thomas, a representative from the American Cancer Society of Washington County, visited the Boonsboro High School Service Club on May 14 in recognition of the club's fundraising efforts.

A dance marathon called "Dance for the Love Of ..." was held early in the semester, and the club was able to update Thomas on the event. The president of the Service Club, Caitlin Wolfe, presented Thomas with a $450 donation to the American Cancer Society.

The club raised a total of $405.12 at the dance marathon. Everyone who helped out learned what was done well, and what improvements might be made in future dance marathons.
